Yesterday was Halloween and I've been looking forward to it for weeks. Last year was a lot of fun but this year with Ella being old enough to do a lot more, it was just awesome. Ella really likes Tinkerbell and so that's what we decided on for her costume (thanks Mom for getting it!).
She's old enough now that when I tell her about something that's coming up, she will listen and seems to understand - even if she doesn't really 'get it', it was still really fun to tell her about Halloween and how she she going to dress up and have a lot of fun and she really seemed to be excited about it.
We taught Ella to say "Trick or treat" and she says something like "Teechee tee" and all week we've been practicing. Here she is decorating her trick-or-treating bucket earlier in the week.
After her nap yesterday it was time to get dressed in her costume and she seemed so excited to get in it. She said "WOAH" when she saw it and kept nodding her head and smiling. It was so cute. Once it was on, she was really excited to check herself out in the mirror!
She decided her bucket needed a few more stickers
Pretty fairy wings
Showing off her bucket
Decorating my face with stickers
Kisses for my sweet little Tink
She's ready to go!
Mom and Glenn came over and then it was off to Hollyfest for a fun afternoon!
