Both of us thought the other one had brought Ella's socks, so the end result is that we had a barefoot little girl wanting to take off on her own across the grass. When we first put her down, she didn't know what to make of it, especially because it's still so prickly from the winter.

It was such a nice afternoon and really made me look forward to spring and being able to take Ella a lot

Looks like fun! I am eagar for nice weather again too. It always puts me in good spirits. You asked about the ice storm..it stayed a couple hours south of us so we just got sleet/snow. I'll take that over icy power lines and power outages any day=)
