Catching up - last few weeks of January
Life has been a whirlwind the past few months, and the last 6 weeks have been the craziest yet. I've got lots to write about which I hope to do soon, but in the meantime I'm happy to be getting caught up on pictures of my sweet girl and some of what we've been up to since I last posted.
Here are a bunch of pictures from the last few weeks of January -
One of the many, many uses for her 'handy helper'
Cooking with Grandma
All dressed up with Cory
Here she is with Nomar, she was so happy and proud that he was letting her hold him
At Gillian's birthday party
In bed at Grammy's
She told me to go downstairs one morning while she 'finished up' her hair - here is the result!
We put our first 100-piece puzzle together
With her frog at Grammy's - she had several days of dressing him up in diapers, carrying around his 'diaper bag" and wanting him buckled in her car seat with her
Steve's 35th birthday

My Little Nurse
I hit my funny bone against the doorway pretty hard, and told Ella that I hurt my elbow. She was very, very sweet and said "let me rub it for you" and starting rubbing it.
I said how much better it was feeling and she said "I'm not done yet" and kept rubbing it, really gently. Then a minute later she said, very sweet and concerned, "Okay, is it fine now?" I said "Yes, all better, thank you so much for your help."
She said, kind of relieved, "good, because I can't keep rubbing it every night." - ha!

Gymnastics Show
Ella had her mid-year gymnastics show a few weeks ago and as usual I loved the chance to watch her do all her tricks up close.
Jumping on the air track - she never gets tired of jumping!
They always go from station to station and sing "Down by the Station" in a little train. This is a 3-5 year old class, and when Ella started in this class in January of last year, she seemed so little next to most of the girls - now she's one of the biggest!
On the beam
Miss Dallas was telling the group what they were supposed to do next and Ella just picked up my phone, yelled out - "Miss Dallas, smile!" and took the this picture.
Climbing
Video clip of her going through the circuit
With her ribbon - she was really proud of it, and ended up asking to wear it to school the next day and left it on the whole day
